Selamat... Cuti Sekolah!

Yeah... Masanya untuk enjoy the light traffic in the morning (hope I'm not speaking too soon), takyah keluar rumah pepagi buta to send them to school, can sleep a bit later than usual, not to worry much about homework... Dont you just love the holidays?
The downside to it is Mummy tak holiday pun, tetap kena keje kan. But I'm taking leave soon. Got a family trip planned. I can't wait.
A lot has happened lately - I finally got my Mother's Day gift from abang misai tersayang (tenchu baby); Umaira had her first KSSR exam, there's another one in September kalau tak silap. Tak tau lagi apakah resultsnya. Tapi katanya; "Ingatkan susah, senang je..." Ewah... Sedapnya cakap, but harap2 betullah dia boleh buat. Dah janji siap dengan ayaq mata I will give her what she wants if she gets all A. Actually I hate promising such things, I try to avoid them takut tak terfulfill, sian kat budak. I like giving them surprises instead. Tapi ari tu, sebab dia "bekukan" otak bila kita nak ajar, terpaksalah cairkan with such promise. Sigh...
And oh, we went to the funnest birthday party by far. Will upload pics soon with details. Memang cun and creative.
Ok time to sleep. Saja singgah to dust the space. Ada skit OCD. Mwahs!

When I Get Thirsty...

Tiba2 teringat, Umaira told me got this boy from her class who teased her about wearing a "bra". Mind you, she's only 7, no bras required, yet. She wears a camisole under her baju kurung, so I guess the boy thought it's considered a "bra". Either that, his pretty disturbed sebab pernah nampak mak or kakak or somebody in his house wear them. The poor kid, but it's still no excuse for him to ejek my girl. So this is this is the answer I gave Umaira in case budak tu kacau lagi:

"Awak teringin pakai ke? Nanti saya bagi ek." Lantaaakkk!!

This is what my Papa taught me when this one kid suka bebenor usik me during our bus rides home, masa sekolah rendah:

"Dia kacau2 awak tu sebab dia suka awaklah..." ERKSSS!! That. Is. So. Weird!

What A Great Milestone

Sepatutnya dah kena balik ni. Sekarang, takleh nak stayback kat opis lelama (yey!) sebab the girls dah start kelas mengaji. It's like almost everyday of the week. Yang paling bestnya, the girls absolutely love the class, boleh? Kalau remind them ada kelas mengaji, bukan main merenyih sampai belakang telinga. Nak kata ada ustaz kiut, idak pulak sebab belajar ngn ustazah. It was actually a last minute thingy. Memang nak bagi depa belajar ngaji, and dah lama dah pegang nombor ustazah tu, tapi tercall-call. Ntah macam mana ari tu, saja SMS nak enquire dulu. Tup2 ustazah balas cakap datang malam tu jugak. Waaaahh... Bagi dia, benda mengaji ni tak baik lengah2. Yes bos!
I think I can teach kids to mengaji also, but hehehehe...tak lengkap ilmu di dada nak jadi ustazah la kan, dada pun kurang! wahahahaha...
See here untuk lihat gambar comel anakanda berdua jadi ustazah kecik.

Don't Fall For This Trap!

When your child says, she's checked her beg and she's quite sure there's no homework given, you'd better double check. Notlah saying your child is not trustworthy, but kids may not be a good "planner" like you. But ofcourse, I am talking bout my eldest, yang telah berjaya "memperdayakan" Mummy over the weekend. I was quite surprised the teachers didn't give any homework. Like, biar benar?
But because I love her, so much, percaya je lah.

So last night, we took her out for dinner with tok Mama and Baba. Half way thru dinner, Umaira memang keletihan so terlelap dalam kereta sampai balik rumah. I even excused her from having to check her books. Takpelah, esok pagi baru buat, sempat pun sebab memang jenis awal bangun.

Tapi Mummy plak tak percaya diri sendiri. Kot2lah gue yang bangun lambat, how? Tak check buku anak sekolah. So I did it when she was asleep. Rupa2nya, ada dua homework tak bersiap!! Aaaagggh! Mulalah nak jadi menatang hijau kan. Bertuah punya budak, leh cakap takde homework.

So sesudah Subuh dah kena kejut siapkan homework. Nasib baiklah jenis cepat menulis and dah tahu jawapan. Tapi kena tahanlah bebelan bonda sebelum matahari terbit kan. Haiiihh... So yes, mulai hari ni, Mummy pun kenalah rajin2 selak buku2 dalam beg, to avoid this problem from berulang lagi.

And oh, kenapa bila cari "fun green activities" asyik jumpa yang for kids only? Bila taip "fun green activities for adults" serious takde. Cubalah try. Apa? Adults takyah tolong help the Earth ke? Ikh!

Meeting Mak Ayah

Punyalah excited to go to my first PIBG meeting, kol 2.15pm sharp I was already in the school compound. I seriously thought many parents will turn up coz I remember when Papa attended my school's pta meeting, penuh satu dewan. And this one is only done at the foyer, I was even thinking of bringing my own chair! Memang nampak ramai, tapi yang meramaikannya are parents of ex-students, dah masuk tktan satu pun, they're only there to receive penghargaan sebab dapat 5As, even kelas tercorot dalam darjah enam yang dapat 5C pun dapat hadiah, sebab dah la ko corot, tapi leh pass plak. Kira agak miracle gitu, gamaknya... But oklah tu, kira motivasi la kan.

Setel jek amik hadiah, terus hilang separuh "penonton" PIBG. Rupa2nya yang betul2 hadir for the meeting, I think, is only 20% of the school's parents. Peggghh...quite disappointing to my standard. Tapi takpelah, atleast me and my soccer mom buddy came to support. Punyalah kami excited, sampai tang depa mintak sapa nak cadang and sokong, kitorang dua jelah tukang angkat tangan hahahaha...Sekurang2nya our names will be in next year's report. Ahaks!

The meeting was actually quite straight forward. Memang bagus pun I came a bit early coz I got to read the reports first. During meeting takde pun depa nak discuss butir2 dalam tu, which is good, kalau tak mau sampai tengah malam meeting. Kalau meeting MT u ols!

Tapi bila part perkara berbangkit tu, ada lah hamba Allah ni angkat tangan nak suarakan rasa tak puas hati sebab gate belakang sekolah tu bertutup. This particular issue have been discussed for years, and last year they have decided, and I pun totally agree, to close the gate permenantly. U c, that gate was originally opened to allow kids who live kat belakang skolah tu access to the school. I think the penduduk situ tak puas hati sebab now they have to pusing agak jauh la nak antar anak sekolah.

Tapi PIBG yang dah pergi ke peringkat PPD telah diberitahu utk close the gate after many worrisome cases - peras ugut budak skolah menengah terhadap the primary school kids, kes ceroboh, kes curi and paling dahsyat, maksiat dalam kelas. Tak padan ngan budak kecik!! Or maybe ada orang tua ke pi buat maksiat dalam kelas sekolah, tak ke huduh perangainya!!

For me, it is plain common sense. Memang baguslah tutup the gate before anything worse happens. So I seriously dont get why that parent emosi gila suh buka gate tu. I feel he may be selfish sebab tak kuasa nak pusing jauh (bukan jauh pun, seriously) utk antar anak sekolah. Satu alasan yang dia bangkitkan yang memang buat gue nak ngilai pontianak was this: "Kata 1 Malaysia, takkan budak sekolah menengah takleh gaul ngan budak sekolah rendah." Peggghhh...

Abang ingat budak2 sekarang macam budak2 zaman dulu ke? Kalau depa gaul macam adik beradik n macam perangai kanak2, takpelah. Gaul zaman sekarang dah tahap...haihhh...gelik nak sebut. Lagipun dah terbukti ada kes peras ugut from budak sekolah menengah, ko nak galakkan ke? Dapat share ke apa?

Then ada lah sorang Hamba Allah ni bangun pulak bagi ayat takde point. "Kita rakyat 1Malaysia, kenapa nak ada sekatan?" Heh?? Apa kena mengena plak dah? Masa gate tu buka pun macam2 dah jadi, and bila tutup terbukti banyak kes berkurang, lagi ko mau question?? Siap guru besar tu cakap ada kes budak pra sekolah nyaris lemas kat kolam ikan sekolah menengah, sebab tak jadi kat anak ko, that's why ko rasa lantaklah?

Then brother yang awal tadi plak tambah, "Kalau maksiat nak jadi, kat mana2 pun boleh jadi." Abis tu? Takkan ko nak biar maksiat jadi kat dalam sekolah plak. Lojik letak kat punggung ke?? Aduuuuhh...

See how exciting PIBG meetings can be? I listened and fumed, and nasib baik lah we have a great PIBG committee and the GB pun pandai menjawab. And nasib baiklah ada hamba Allah lain bangun and bangkitkan isu lain yang lebih penting. Kalau tak, jenuh nak layan manusia jenis bangkang tetap bangkang.

I feel it's better kalau the AJKs has a scripted answer for the gate issue. Kena tanya jek bagi jek jawapan tu kat tukang tanya. Kalau parents jenis persoalkan bab tu tak puas hati, silalah pindahkan anak2 korang kat sekolah yang takde gate, any dickanharry, peah and hussin pun leh selamba keluar masuk. Susah2 sangat, korang home school kan jek. Senang kan, kan, kan?

Pfffthhh..!!

Jangan Ganggu Fikiran Saya please...

The blog title is already a day old. I am trying to recall them but heck, can't remember the details. Tapi yang terbaru, just happened minutes ago, is about Umaira. She was asked to come to school early today. How early? Tak reti habaq plak. But the best part is, she told Bibik to wake her up at 4am, boleh? Gila apa pergi sekolah gitu awal? As usual, Mummy pun tanya banyak lah - the what for, especially. BUt one thing about Umaira, lagi kita tanya makin perlahan her volume goes, tak kira lah if we meninggi suara or cakap tone biasa. It's like she has a please-don't-ask-me syndrome. Haiiihhh! Can be quite frustrating.

So fine, I sent her early, but not at 4am ofcourse. Sent her by 7am. It was still considered early, coz the official bell is only at 7.30am. Called her just now, nak follow up. She said, she was given a present by one of the senior teachers during assembly. So soalan susulan is "what for?". And once again she goes errr urrrmmm... SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHY SHE'S BEEN GIVEN A PRESENT? (yang Mummy pun jadi saiko sebab anak dapat hadiah pun nak stress, apakahhh??)

Ok fine, I am texting her class teacher. Hope we're getting a satisfactory answer.

(setengah jam kendian)

Al-kisah... Umaira entered some contest for Maulud Nabi in school on Saturday, and somehow, whatever she submitted tu got her to top three in her class, so dapatlah present from I think the Cikgu Ko-ko. But urm, she was the only in class that day who didn't wear her tudung (coz Mummy tak bagi coz I thought she was just fooling me. Alasan!! huhu). Malu ah!
Okay, okay, Yeayyyy to my girl!!!

Apa Jek Nak Cerita...?

I've been wanting to write (alasan). Tapi our netbook is ill, suka shut down sendiri, especially when you are in the middle of writing something. Tu yang putus angin nak update. Kang tengah sedap2 taip, kapoot! Got to send to doktor Nano, my sis works at Digital Mall, so siapla adinda yaaa...

And oh, me and hubby dah pergi sekolah Umaira and spoke to the ceekgu kanan disiplin. Al-kisahnya, lepas peristiwa kena pau duit to buy sharpener tu, I gave Umaira RM5 sekeping so that she can get her music book and be done with it. Seperti biasa, I called her after school to check, dia dah start ooh aah ooh aah. Dah agak dah, mesti something went wrong. Bila tanya punya tanya, rupa2nya another girl in class (buddies to the first girl who took her two ringgit) went up to her and asked: "Ko ada duit?" (intonasi samseng ya). So Umaira ni, sebab dah diajar to say no to the first girl if she asks for money mungkin tak sure la kot if the same rule applies to this girl plak. So sudah serah duit RM5 itu dengan sesajanya. Kata budak tu nak beli sticker kucing plak dah. Ngghh!!

Memang menyirap bandung, jawa, jakarta dah kami laki bini. On Friday itself terus pegi sekolah to speak to the teacher. I think after we left, the ceekgu pi kelas Umaira and called her and the two girls. So sudahlah ditegur bagai, and ofcourse the girls tak ngaku they took her money. Bestla kan kalau buat salah leh ngaku kan.

But for me, I am glad the teacher(s) took immediate action and I pray that this thing tak berulang, not only to my daughter, tapi kepada sesiapa je lah. It's just scary bila budak2 dah tau nak tunjuk samseng. Mungkin the girls tak tau it's wrong sebab dah tengok some adults do it, manalah tau kan. Kids besau2 tu mesti meniru jek keje dia. Mungkin dia tengok kakak or abang dia dok buat, or dia sendiri pernah kena buat nothing happened to the pembuat, dia rasa benda tu tak salah. Manalah tahu... I pray besar2 esok tak jadi penyangak la korang ya...

Below, gegambar masa cuti2 raya cina yang panjang ari tu. We didn't go anywhere, just lepak rumah, keluar masuk mall, pi rumah tok Mama. Cuma ada satu hari tu, TV yang pernah menimpa Umaira (secara misteri habis) akhirnya telah meninggal dunia. So terpaksalah nyopping TV baru...

Sementara kami tengah ushar TV, Umar pun tolong "review" mana yang boleh. Sampai ke macam tu sekali. Heheheheh...

Hah!! Hamik ko. Mungkinkah Umar sedang kira pixelation pada TV ittew? Mungkin juga...

Alamak! Sudah malu besau sebab Mummy caught him in the act. Gediks!!

Me and my darling sisters, Nano and Malyn. We had dinner at Cerana, near Mama's house. Not bad food situ, service pun not bad. So yes, I am the most gelap hahahahaha...

Manual Darjah Satu

Tak kuasa kot nak buat manual hahaha! Sebab utama, it's already the 5th day of school. The thrill to actually share what happened on their first day, is now not as exciting. Not an excuse, but I have been busy this new year (BTW, happy new year!!!). Setel jek first day of school, dah kena back to back photo shoots yang agak gila. Bila dapat duduk kat ofis ada plak yang meroyan minta itu ini. Then masuk studio balik. Gitulah. Orang lain baru nak panaskan enjin for the new year, I am thinking April Fool now u know! Yes, that's the job prescription.
N'ways, I still need to do this for the kids. Here goes...

Ya kengkawan. Ingat tak waktu2 di mana you can actually bangun awal and tidur balik before getting ready to work? Say goodbye to that once you have kids schooling in formal school ya. The Azis-Anida household is up and about by 6.15am, exactly one hour before Datin Ding of Umaira's school starts reprimanding late comers. Time tujuh suku to tujuh setengah (saja nak ngeja) adalah time utk baca story book. Zaman Mummy dulu, mana leh bawak buku cerita gi skolah (nak kalu, seludup ley) rupa2nya sekarang they legalize that. Chis! Tapi tak sure plak budak darjah satu leh bawak story book menda, bawak buku princess kang! Pic above, bukti matahari belum terbit when we were about to leave to school. Semangat abis! (but yeah, Mummy's a little kiasu ahaks!)

Eh lupa, before that, acara Daddy pakaikan kasut sekolah anak. Olololoooo...Daddy ni sangat lemah lutut bab anak. Mummy dah bersemangat abis nak tinggal anak kat gate, sebab Umaira pun on jek nak walk to her class on her own. But Daddy tak bagiiiiiii... Selagi Datin Ding kata parents can enter school premise in the first week of school (applies to Primary One only), itulah kata2 yang dia pegang. Daddy, daddy...

Here we are, in school. It was about 7.05am. Still early (gila awallah!). Lepak dulu bagi nyamuk2 kebulur kat kawasan sekolah tu plenty of food for the new year. heheheheh...

Krrrrriiinnggg! Kenalah mula beratur. Didn't see any of her classmates so terpaksalah (terpaksa ke?) beratur depan. Yes Umaira, ke-kiasu-an Mummy gave you a chance to stand infront. Duduk depan best, leh dengar segala. Percayalah...

The standard one kids kena "tahan" dulu coz the teacher has special announcements for them, how to tie hair, when to wear the tie (eh?), name tag... Bab ni Mummy ada skiiiit bengang. During orientation, we asked one of the teachers, is it necessary to buy a tie, kena pakai hari2 ke? Dia cakap, tak yah beli pun takpe. So we opted for not buying lah. Anywhere we can save, we try to lah kan. Belakang, during assembly, taklimat di atas memberitahu, they have to wear the tie for assemblies. Chit! Nasib baik we didn't have to que at the book shop (gila panjang kena beratur) sebab cikgu kelas ada stock ngan dia. Bagus!

Bila Umaira dah nyaris nak abis assembly pertama dia, we rushed back to get Ulfa to school. Sian anak Mummy yang ni, memang second child syndrome yang tak dapat dielakkan. We fussed so much for Umaira's first day of kindy, but Ulfa telah disiapkan oleh Bibik. Mummy tinggal tie her hair saja. Tapi Ulfa ni lain skit, she will tell you what kind of hair style she wants, and everyday, it varies. Layan je lah...

I think they repainted the school, coz it looks more ceria somehow. Memula tu memang terkantat2 juga cari nama Ulfa, they put stickers with the kids' names on it, so tau la nak letak kasut kat mana. Rupa-rupanya...

Macam mana tak kompius! Yes it is still (almost) her name but we jarang use Khadeja. Dah la salah spelling. What lah you teacher..?

Interestingly, Ulfa's, I mean Khadeja's class is upstairs. Opposite Umaira's old class. Past two years, the K2 kids saja kelas kat atas. And paling bagus, kelas Ulfa ada 10 budak jek. Leh teacher concentrate on them. And Ulfa, dapat Teacher Zhana, as she "requested" before school started.

Ulfa ready to be a big girl! Next to her is Shakirah. Ya, I tot she's Chinese too sebab putih melepak! I have yet to see this Abdul Ghafur boy Ulfa's been mentioning. Mention bukan sebab berkenan, tapi sebab budak tu besau. hehehe...

Bila tengok Ulfa macam okay jek, terus rush back to Umaira's school. Nasib baik BSD ni is just one big circle so senanglah nak ulang alik. Masa ni, Umaira had to sit next to a boy. Muncung je mulut coz she said she only make friends with girls. Ewah... Darling, must make friends with everybody u know....

Second bell of the day, recess time! Baru perasan Rania is in her class. I have seen her name on orientation day, tapi tak sure plak yang mana satu. I thought she is Alisya. Rania is actually Umaira's Krista classmate masa they were 4 years old. The first week of school (then), dedua ni lah kaki meraung sesama. Tak sangka plak dah jadi classmates for formal school. Cute!

Joined by Alia Alyssa (van-mate Umaira, also ex Krista), from kelas 1 Murni. Tengoklah mak pak yang sakan nak make sure anak2 makan. Aunty Zieda siap make sure dedua baca doa makan dulu. Yang syioknya dia kata, doa sebelum makan bolehlah ajar, hat lain kena belajar ngn ustazah. Sabar je lah kan!
So far, Umaira bawak bekal dari rumah. So there's no need for any pocket money for now. Mummy Daddy dah ushar food kat kantin tu, memang takde sesuatu yang Umaira akan berkenan. Takat nak beli nugget tiga ketul RM1, suh je lah Bibik goreng jumlah sesuka atimu!

Dah habis waktu rehat, kenalah beratur balik. Yang pegang pembesar suara tu was one of the Ustazahs. Belum apa2 dah ada budak tercicir wallet. Darjah satu pun dah bawak wallet u ols! Mummy dulu taruk dalam kocek pinafore jek. Tapi dulu duit syiling jek la kan, sekarang dengarnya mak pak bagi sampai RM5 pun ada. Peggghh... We went to see what kind of food they were selling. Don't think Umaira would enjoy nasi lemak with sambal tuang on the nasi, or any of laksa or mi kari. Ada juga depa jual kek yang dah siap potong, hat tu murah - 40 sen sepotong. Tapi potongannya ala ala "tiny, tiny, tiny!!" dalam cerita Confession of a Shopaholic tu.
And pantang betul tengok keropok lekor kaler cerah jual harga mahal. Dah kahwin orang Tganu, dah tahu sangat kualiti kopok lekor yang mantap kenalah warna gelap skit, menandakan isi ikan dia tak kedekut. Gelap itu menawan, macam Daddy heheheh...

Masa ni, the tears finally fell. Mummy dah agak leh terima hakikat (not fully, but bolehlah...) yang Umaira is growing up (fast) with going to Year One sebagai permulaannya. Ingat dah takleh nangis dah, tup tup masa tengah beratur ni ternampak this little lady, she must be in Year Two or Three. Adik lelaki dia dok pegang siku kakak while the kakak bawak adik untuk beratur. Aduuuuhhh...so kiut!!! Awak tu dah ler kanak-kanak, tapi dah kena jadi kakak and budak besau. Nasib baik masa tu pakai spek itam, takleh la nampak mata dah merah macam vampire huhuhuhuuuu...

Setel recess Umaira, we went home to pick up Umar the yoboy. Dah terperuk dalam rumah, kesian la plak. Nampak dia a little lonely, selalunya ada Ulfa buat kawan bergaduh. Hamik ko, dedua kakak pi sekolah. Patah balik ke Krista sebab nak tengok Ulfa balik dengan van. Sementara nunggu, sempatlah Umar terrorize the playground dan buat aksi super gedik seperti terbukti di atas. Aiyorrrr...so gediks! Bila Ulfa dah nampak Mummy Daddy ada, sorrylah nak naik van kan. Bergenang ayaq mata nak balik ngan kami. Takpelah anak, esok masih ada and memang takde choice pun, kena balik dgn van. Mummy and Daddy cuti sehari jek.
We paid the van, gila mahal k! For just a short distance: both girls are travelling one way with the van. Umaira kena RM80 and Ulfa RM60. Gulp!
Susah susah esok, Mummy berenti keje amik upah bawak budak pergi balik skolah je lah. Bukannya kena amik lesen pun kalau sendirian berhad gitu dok? Duit bersih gitu...

Sampai2 rumah Ulfa terus minta susu and sempat pengsan kejap sementara tunggu kakak balik. Mummy Daddy patah balik to the school, nak tengok Umaira naik van plak. We made sure she knows where to wait, and who are her van mates etc. Nasib baik our van driver memang jenis efficient and akan tunggu kat the promised spot, making sure all the kids under her are there then jalan sesama pi van. Seriau lah kalau kena tunggu luar kawasan sekolah, it's the main road and there's lots of cars. Better wait in the school premise. And another good tip: Make sure the school security guard pun kenal you.
Suami saya memang super friendly, dan kebetulan guards sekolah Umaira are this two old ladies yang sangat garang, baguihlah garang pun. One thing people sometimes take for granted about these ladies is the fact that they're human too. Tegur dan bagi salam lah kat depa ni sama, gerenti depa akan ingat you. Umaira pun dah diingatkan suh selalu bagi salam kat the two nenek gagah. Leh jugak nenek2 tu tengok2kan anak kita...

Pic atas, bila dedua beradik yang berpisah separuh hari berjumpa, macam berpisah seminggu tau! Depa memang super close and I think Ulfa ingat dia satu sekolah ngn kakak. Tu sebab ada sikit "amukan" bila nak ke sekolah dua tiga hari lepas tu. Part of growing up sayang, not that I like it that you both are "separated". Soon, you will be in the same school! Yey! Then leh kakak pimpin adik pergi kelas bagai. Huhuhuuuu...

Nampak tak perjalanan ulang alik for the two first timers to school? It was crazy but it was also most satisfying! Paling puas hati si Daddy lah, lepas lunch jek terus pengsan tiga jam. Macam dia plak yang pergi sekolah. Over betul!!!!

We Are Primary One

We're ready for orientation, bring it on!

Daddy's last chance to dukung anak. He's more emotional I think. :)

To be used forever!

Text and exercise books, nyaris siap dibalut.

Planner/Calendar for 2011 school year.

Not officially yet, coz that's gonna happen on Monday ni, but it feels like it's today sebab dah orientasi and siap kena buat assessment test bagai. No, Umaira didn't cry at all (or just yet). No, she wasn't running to me whenever she feels insecure in class. No, she didn't look lost at all! Don't know why I was expecting the "worse", so Alhamdulillah sesangat she was a-okay! But sedetik tadi rasa sebak, when the HM announced the kids need to line-up according to their class (she's in 1 Setia) and the teacher will walk them to class for the assessment. Satu, I thought I'd be the one walking her to class and dua, WHAT TEST lah?? Rupa2nya they want to see which kids need extra attention, kot takleh baca lagi etc... Oh, okay. I think she did okay coz she wasn't pulled out of the class.

Yang kurang bestnya, none of her kindy mates are in her class. Me and Zieda, Alia Alyssa's mom were quite disappointed, but the good side of it their classes are nearby and they are going back with Aunty Carol sesama.

Pictures from school today are up on FB http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=265533&id=548779721&l=2956084ca3. Check it out!

What to Do? What to Do?

Disebabkan the Malaysian football team menang besau last nite in Jakarta for the second (heh?) final of the Suzuki Cup, our beloved PM announce esok cuti. Rasanya dah lama gila Malaysia tak cuti mengejut2 macam ni. Dulu ada lah jugak, masa menang badminton then esoknya cuti bagai. Baguslah jugak tomorrow is public holiday, then I dont need to burn my AL. Was planning to take half day pun coz Umaira's orientation is tomorrow morning. Can't wait! Nak tahu dia masuk Darjah 1 apakah? Kiasu sama sebab I havent written anything on her books. But Daddy beat me to her names, siap tempah chop with her name bagai! Bagus! Bab tu Daddy memang cekap, I love u lah!
Another thing to celebrate today is... Mummy's meeting my old buddies from sekolah menengah dulu haaa. One I have met this time last year, she's moved to Sri Lanka to teach and live with hubby yang rupa2nya orang London ya. We used to have sleepovers every week when we were close. Rasanya Papa dah tak larat2 nak berulang from TTDI to Dsara Jaya tu. And another friend who is now a tauke ladang kambing u ols! Senang Mummy nak buat aqiqah lepas ni dah tahu mana nak cari punca. Betul tak my fwen??? *hint baik punya*
Yang syioknya the tauke ladang tu I haven't met since I last left SMP Sri Aman, yang duduk Sri Lanka tu dah jumpa few times (she said Daddy is good looking, biar benar???), like whenever she comes back to visit her family here. Dan lebih syiok, one of my interns is actually her cousin. Super small world!! Now the cousin is in NY sambung belajar (Miss you Aliaa).
Lots of catching up to do today, mesti ni compare berat siapa lagi berat hahahahah...Layan je lah...
Pengajaran: Be good friends to your classmates, and they will be your friends forever! The satisfaction of no long-lost friendship is sangat berbaloi ya anak2...

Ready for School!

The holiday was fine, we hit the beach, played in the pool, mummy also swam macam baby paus (haha)... Sekarang suma tengah gelap terbakar, layan je lah...
Prep for school/ Umaira - baju sekolah dah, tinggal satu lagi lencana. kasut sekolah dah, stokin dah, "kiwi" kasut sekolah (donno why Daddy panggil kapur kasut tu kiwi, ikh!), tshirt and track bottom dah, beg skolah dapat advance, bulan tiga nun masa bday dia so leh pakai secara rasminya. stationaries pun setel. Tinggal nak check bottle tumbler and bekas makanan pakai jek yang beli kat Ikea ittew.
Prep for school/ Ulfa - Dah register, terbang ribanan uang. Dah dapat beg sekolah and uniforms. Ada ke principal tu ingat I am just gonna use Umaira's old school outfit, aiyor, so unfair. And, Ulfa is going to learn Mandarin for the next two years. Tapi bila pikirkan balik, kang masuk sekolah rendah tak guna plak Mandarin tu... How ek?

Berjaya potong rambut kat salun kena charge RM10! Pernah sekali tu, main terjah jek potong without asking, tup2 bil kena RM20 seorang kenit kot. Gilalah! Tak potong pendek sangat coz I still want the hair to be tied to school, rambut depan pun biar panjang.

Ulfa nampak sad je, tapi sebenarnya she loves her hair shorter. :)
