Mgkin sbb zaman dah berubah tu pasal thrill dan cara nak ungkap cinta tu pun dah berlain. In a way i am quite lucky to b able to witness cinta diungkap menerusi surat mcm mana mama n papa went thru dulu. Masa papa kena assign to Korea masa malyn kecik dulu... Geli ati pun ada tgok mama tersipu-sipu dpt surat frm papa. I dont have to read what's inside to know how much they missed each other. Imagining them getting news frm each other selang dua minggu rasa macam aiyorrr, i wont b able to survive that! Dah ler papa was away for three months. Oh parahnya nak survive.
Then came zaman handfon bagai. Tpi awal2 bercinta dgn suami sempatla main berbalas kad raya jiwang dlm du kali aidilfitri kot. Then maybe on birthdays, tu pun taklah komited gila nak kumpul n simpan. Bila masing2 dah mampu ada mobile phone bermulalah era balas sms. Kredit abis jadi tak keruan sbb nak kena selalu tanya khabar. Tapi sedar tak, tak semua msg cinta kita ingat? Tpi tak bermakna kita tak sayang. Maybe sbb perbuatan tu je dah memadai utk tunjukkan yg kita selalu ingat kat dia. Sampaikan, kalau tak balas lepas lima minit pun rasa nak merajuk! Lima minit tuuuuu... Tu zaman mak ayah yg berminggu baru dpt surat how lar? Gamaknya posmen zaman tu byk betul pahala dia sbb jdi penyambung kasih. Kalau skrg rasa nak maki jek sbb dok bawak surat hutang haha!
And skrg lagi canggih. Gebang cinta thru twitter. Kira open sms lah. For all to see. For me, tak annoying takpe. Ada jek yg cute mata membaca. Tapi wow... Everything's very open now. Nak tersipu2 pun suma orang leh tahu. Nak jiwang pun dah tak perlu malu2. Pilihan masing2... Dah kalau itu cara nak utuhkan (pegh ayat!) hubungan well, ur choice. Evolusi cara bercinta lah tu! Sungguh advance...
As for me and suami, we r still at sms-ing. I know he has a twitter account tapi dia buat stock baca as reference jek. Kat fb pun we are not close. Our cintan cintun pun x sampai tahap whatsapp yg free tu sbb suami pakai fon zaman ice age. And psl tak balas sms lepas lima minit leh buat majuk tu... Saya saya saya! Saya ngaku tu saya... Tapi okaylah kan... Isi kandungan sms tu takde sapa yg tau betapa jiwangnya hehehehee...

I demand that weekends be three days! Macam tak nyempat buat apa pun weekend dua hari, walaupun sapa suruh baring jek lebih dari buat apa2 kan? Hehe... Especially weekends where hubby only gets one day off. When he's not around memang agak mati kutu. Not that i cant make plans without him around, by all means silalah, kalau ikut dia. Tapi memang kurang motivasi la nak buat apa2. So end up, lepak at home. Nak pegi malls sangat memang not this weekend la kan. Gila kot time orang dah gaji. Last nite dapat jengah Ikea kejap pun rasa rungsing tengok merenyut nya manusia kat situ. Kena pegi pun sebab nak get Papa's refund from Ikea.

Sebelum ni, he bought their tilam and during that time ada promotion. They deliver your purchase then they can help dispose old mattress for free. Ntah macam mana, orang delivery tu suh Papa bayar kalau nak, and he paid RM50 sebab nak buat apa simpan tilam lama kat umah tu pun. So I made official complain to Ikea, luckily kenal orang dalam, so memang dapat refund balik. Thank you Ikea!

And now dah nak dekat exam week. Concert day for my Krista kids pun dah nak dekat. Umaira has to study harder nak get 5As sebab Daddy dah janji akan bawak gi holiday if she gets all As, so no pressure there (yeah rite). Tapi the blekk side to this is, during kids' concert Daddy wont be around plak dah. Ada outstation trip to Taiwan. Sigh... Dah ler it's Umar's first concert, and Ulfa's graduation lak tu. Huwaaaa... Tapi I shouldn't be complaining, dah paham sangat "kudrat" kerja Daddy. So now, kenalah minta bantuan aunty Malyn and Uncle Jo. Bukan apa, tolong amikkan video jek. Jenuh Mummy nak berstunt depan stage tu dengan perut lagi... hehehe.. it won't be a pretty sight at all!

And Insyaallah, we want to get our butts off BSD and move to Alam Budiman. Hopefully by new year. Sempat tak sempat, we shall see... Sebab banyak benda nak kena settlekan termasuk renovating the house and pertukaran sekolah anak... Memikirkan jek dah rasa fuiyohhh... And terus terang cakap, work stress is not helping at all!

Let's keep that for another day. Kalau ada perkembangan lebih positif, akan diupdate. Sekarang ni yang confirm kembang is my huuuugggeee tummy! This forth pregnancy memang nampak peruuuutttt jek. I'm at 6 months milestone but I seriously look like almost full term. Takleh bayangkan bila dah 30+ weeks nanti apakah rupanya. And on top of all that, I am still driving to work and events, and I have to be independent in that sense coz hubby is no longer working the normal human hours. Oh well, buat je lah selagi terdaya... Bismillah to a new week ahead...

Looking for a great birthday gift for a boy? Dah kalau girls, you can buy them books, Barbie, play house and dolls etc... Kekadang with boys macam susah skit nak memikio. Personally, I love Lego atau anything yang sewaktu dengannya. Tak semestinya lah Lego, bukan murah sangat pun. Tapi benda2 to build macam ni memang akan nguji bebudak punya kreativiti and what more, they'll get distracted for hours. Yes, hours!

Dah daripada duduk nyepah or ngadap tv macam kena brainwash, bagilah dia benda bina2 ala Lego ni.

This was actually Umar's bday gift from me and Daddy. Memula tu kena bebel gak dengan suami gak sebab the pieces are tiny, and memang akan hilanglah sikit demi sikit. Tapi sebbaik it came with a box on its own so memang ada tpt simpan sesiap.

And he played with this for hours! And benda2 dia bina tu memang new designs sokmo. Yang gambar atas tu, he calls it Thomas and Engine. Tang mana Thomas, tang mana Engine tu tak tahu la kan.. Tapi tetap mengagumkan.

Yang bawah tu, memang dia sengaja letak terbalik okay. Daddy dia jenuh suh betulkan tapi sebenarnya, bila tengok2 betul. Gila terer buat terbalik gitu. Terer pada pandangan kitorang yang tak terpikir nak buat jadi gitulah kan...

Hehe!

Happy 5th Birthday Iqbal Umar. Sian birthday dia time bulan puasa, sampaikan Mummy pun kurang rajin nak plan any celebration yang gempak for him. I could have planned his party in school sebab budak2 tu surelah tak puasa, and majority non Muslims pun. Tapi not getting the chance to celebrate with him macam tak best plak. So we did a mini celebration time berbuka with Tok Mama and Baba, and his uncles and aunties. Beli kek yang dah ready-made, he got to choose which cake, settle! And dia dapat presents tiga from me, asu and baba pun dah renyih sampai belakang telinga, so settle!

Tapi yang a bit funny (kelakar kat Mummy lah), he still thinks he's celebrating his birthday, sampai la ke semalam. He'd say "Happy birthday FOR...?" Nak suh kita sambung. Kalau I saja dengki and say "...To Mummy!" Memang meraunglah dia lepas tu... And semalam he pow-ed the atok another toy. Padahal dah pesan, no more toys and Baba, stop kena pow. But noooo...balik dedua atok and cucu buat renyih kerang busuk. Cucu cakap "Umar pilih yang paling keciiiiiiiikkkk sekali..." Iyolah kecik, it was a huge truck with two small busses. And tok Baba plak cakap "Umar said, Mummy suh beli yang paling keciiiiiiiiikkk sekali." Hamboi lah anak teruna itu. Pandai kan putar belit? And Baba pun, confirm kena pow tapi nasib baik toy rege RM8 jek.

Ni kes kantoi. Lepas berbuka layan kehendak anak2 nak makan Baskin Robbins. Sementara tunggu semua melahap, tengoklah Daddy buat apa... Kantoi! Tapi kalau tunjuk balik kat Daddy dia akan cakap "Ni dok khusyuk dengar Ulfa cerita ni." And sure anak2 pun cakap sebaliknya... Sebab hakikatnya, Daddy ni kat mana2 pun on jek leh tido! Hehehehe...

And it is two days before Raya. Here's wishing everyone a happy eid! Be safe and stay safe ya!

In my line of work, I do meet many celebrities, mostly locals, mostly for work. We meet, we do shoots, I interview them either face to face or via phone or email... It's all for work. Mmg jaraaaaannnggg and almost never it goes to being personal. And I'm okay with that.

Tapi malam ni lain. Yes I follow a lot of celebs on Twitter partly for work and ofcoz for pleasure of reading how their mind work. One of my favourites is Adibah Noor's. She's witty, sarcastic, kdg2 emo tapi tak negatif. U get it when she zassss org. Sendirik mau ingat la kan...

Sementara tunggu one of Msian finalists at Olympics to dive for her medal, (go Pandalela!), kak Diba offered to sing to a few lucky twitter followers. So I tried my luck... And Alhamdulillah, she DMed me and called! Half song jek tapi sedapnyaaaaaa... I got to admit, taktau judul lagu (fail, much?) tapi I put her on loud speaker and letak dekat tummy. Yes, the beautiful serenade (siap ada minus one music hokay!) was for baby and me. And yes, being miss emo myself, tangkap lelehhhhh ayaq mata cekkkk...

So THANK YOU Adibah Noor for touching our hearts with ur lovely voice. Such a momentous and beautiful moment, we will forever cherish. Weeeeeeeeee...!!
