Oh yes we do... No more late nights, and definitely no more TV in kids' room like before. Akibatnya, Mummy Daddy kenalah berebut TV with children now, but ofcourse, Mummy always gets her turn, whenever she feels like watching it. Nowadays, sangat jarang dah. Don't know what TV show to follow, and the ones I'd like to watch (Giuliana & Bill, Project Runway, Keeping Up With the Kardashians) dah tak tahu what time mula and ada.
I thought with kids getting to bed early, got lah chance for me to hog the TV. Takde maknanya! Mata Mummy pun berat semacam bila anak2 dah masuk alam mimpi. Cuma kena layan Umar jek yang at this moment, is busy membelek wayar komputer ni hah. Hepp... pi baring pi!
Do tell me, how do I handle this:
Situasi Satu: Ulfa's teachers (see the plural, meaning ALL ya) akan cheer dan sambut Ulfa dengan sorakan sakan bila dia tiba kat sekolah. Teacher Shelly sempat bisik bagitu, Ulfa likes to be praised, pujilah dia nampak cantik bagai, confirm tak jadi meraung. Patutlah cik kak tu makin bersemangat pi sekolah. Ada plak tukang aircond kan kechomelannya. Yang tak leh layan tu, Shelly said Ulfa will actually go to the mirror to check her hair and face etc. Heh?? And just this morning, her class teacher Zhana told me the same thing but in plainer words: "Your daughter is very cautious about her looks ya." Mak ai! Like how is that even possible? (Tulah, sapa suh tulis cerita Angelina Jolie jek masa ngandung dia, dah dia perasan dia artis. Hamik ko!! And her pouty lips tu memang kenan Jolie la kan heheheheh)
Situasi Dua: Umaira was doing her homework. Bayangkan kena colour a page full of fruits and guna duit syiling to give texture to the image. Heh? But that's not the main issue. Sambil dia buat homework dia slow and steady tu, sempatlah berbual2 kosong.
Mummy: Cikgu mana ajar Umaira ari ni?
Umaira: Tak nampak cikgu Badariah (her class teacher, dan tiba2 suara dia jadi pelan), tapi ada cikgu Adi.
Heh?
Ari tu Umaira told me she thinks Cikgu Adi is handsome. *faints*
So yes, how do I handle these situations?
